Hello Everyone!
There is still time to send in your ideas for names for the eighth and final street!
In the last week we have had over 100 suggestions! We will hopefully go through all the ideas and suggestions from the last few weeks after Easter. If you have any ideas send them in and I will add them to the list!
If you can't think of any further ideas then why not have a look at the ideas and suggestions that other children have put on the site and let us know which ideas you like best! Or if there are any ideas that your mam, dad, brothers, sisters, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, pets and neighbours would like us to consider then send them through to us as well!
Have a great Easter... keep some Easter eggs for me!!!

hi its me katie hodgson ive got some names for the last street they are venerable bede who desribed gatshead under the latin name "caprea caput" meaning goats head, millennium street because of the gateshead millennium bridge

hi its me i have checked for some names that were here ages ago and they are hillgate which was so popular centuries ago in gateshead.
The street names of medieval Gateshead, Pipewellgate and Oakwellgate... In 1845 only eight streets in Gateshead were supplied with water.
